Nolder Blog - Tolkien Prophesy

The Tolkien Mountain Birthday Bid  was born thanks to Wellington's friends of Tolkien and Peter Jackson's Spin off Tourism Industry from from his Motion Pictures.

This mixed with Fiordland Historian Mr A Nicholson determination to mark and area of lost Tolkien Mountain Peaks  combined with JRR Tolkien's 2nd 21st Birthday and the Launch of the Hobbit Movie Trilogy, made a window for a bid to be launched to give JRR Tolkien a home in New Zealand.

Unfortunately JRR Tolkien's Grandson Royd Tolkien who was in the country at the time (as a guest of Peter Jackson) did not get a chance to inspect his family Real-estate. He had to fly back to the UK.

Legend is that if Royd returns to the Mountain in 2015 and Climbs it, the "Powers that Be" will name it after Him... Tolkien's Mountain... This is in-fact what they are waiting for...  At the end of Durin's Day... of course!

Anduin fails to float Tourism Boat

In Fiordand New Zealand A River that was used extensively in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings Trilogy has now been unofficially dubbed the Anduin River.

A small Tolkien Fan Diaspora drove the Anduin issue through to the New Zealand Government. But failed to get the Tourism industry to promote this Fan inspired Real Life Tolkien Story.

Promotions where to include walkways, information signs,

Viewing Areas and people helping at home on their computers with information.
